Terms of service

By creating a Haulout Ledger account you agree to these terms. If you sign up for a company, you agree on its behalf.

The service

Haulout Ledger is a tool for recording boats, storage spots, winterization, work orders and launch dates. It is only as good as what was entered: confirm a boat's location, condition and the work done before you lift, block, wrap or launch it, and follow safe yard practice. We aren't responsible for damage to boats, injuries, missed or wrong work, or launch-date disputes between you and your customers. Haulout Ledger does not handle payments between you and your customers.

Your account

• Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• The company owner controls who joins the company's account and can disable users at any time.
• Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break in, overload it, or access other companies' data.

Plans and billing

• New companies get a 30-day free trial without a card. After the trial, records stay readable, but adding or changing records needs a paid plan. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel any time from the Billing page; you keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for. We don't give partial refunds.
• If a plan lapses, your data stays, but adding and changing records, and logins for other people, stop working until you choose a plan again.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email.

Your data

Your company's records belong to you. You can export them at any time, and we'll send a copy on request. See the privacy policy for what we store.

Availability

We work to keep Haulout Ledger running but can't promise it will never be down. The service is provided "as is", and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms and will email account owners about material changes. You can stop using Haulout Ledger at any time; we may suspend accounts that break these terms.
